Welcome to The Only One (“the App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

2. Services Provided

The App provides a platform for social networking and meaningful matching. Unlike traditional swipe-based dating services, The Only One is designed to encourage deliberate choice and deeper connections.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

  • You need to create an account to use certain features.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree not to share your account or impersonate another user.

You agree not to:

6. Subscriptions and Payments

  • If the App offers paid services, payments are processed through third-party providers.
  • All charges are subject to applicable Mexican taxes (IVA).
  • Refunds are handled according to App Store policies and Mexican consumer protection law (PROFECO).

7. Privacy & Data Protection

We comply with the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (LFPDPPP) and related regulations in Mexico. Our Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the App, you consent to our privacy practices.

8. Liability Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for damages resulting from interruptions, errors, or misuse of the App. To the maximum extent permitted by Mexican law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for using the App.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mexico City (CDMX).

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective once posted in the App. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
